RECOGNIZING that most environmental problems in Tanzania stem from lack of education, particularly among young people, TAYEN was founded in 2006 at the University of Dar es Salaam
OUR VISION: To have youth in Tanzania with positive attitude towards environmental conservation, so that the world we are living in can be a better place for both present and future generation.

Due to this young generation fail to manage and conserve natural resources for a better future which also threatens the sustainability of conservation efforts carried out by the government, NGOs and development partners
Climate Change Education and Mitigation Programs
We impart climate change knowledge and raise awareness about climate change problem to youth in Tanzania through youth climate change debates, youth discussions and essay writing competitions in our Youth Environmental Clubs in schools and communities
